Good news and not so good news

Well the not so good news is that Rick's health has not been doing good. The good news is, is that I finally got him a dentist appointment so he could get his Wisdom tooth that was bothering him pulled and they had to shove antibiotics in the whole because it was so infected. He feels better now. The bad news is that Rick has not been sleeping well and his blood pressure has been skyrocketing. The good news is that I finally made an appointment for him to see a Sleep Apnia Specialist and he went and had a sleep study done last night. The bad news is, is that he didn't do very well while he was there. His beepers where going of and he would stop breathing. The good news is, is that after an hour of seeing how he sleeps, they were satisfied that he does have sleep apnia and he needs a C Pack (breathing machine). He wore it while he was there and he said he felt better even though he didn't get very much sleep. His oxigen level went up. That's the good news, the bad news is, they told him with insurances, it would take 8 to10 days before they could get him a machine of his own. The very good news is that we're finally going to fix this and he will be with me much longer now. I love you honey!

I did get our Family pictures back from my friend, Christina Humphries and they are so cute. I love the barn we took them at. It is located on the East side of town over by the ball fields and it's falling apart and down and perfect for what we wanted. Rick used to live over there when he was young and he said back then it was in nicer shape and he used to play in with his friends. I'm trying to post pictures on here but all of them won't show up, I'll have to have help.

Shelcy called home tonight and told me that Amber's family is going to North Carolina to pick up Amber's sister and her two kids and they need Shelcy to go with them so she can help drive. They are driving there non stop and it's going to take at least 4 drivers to drive. She said they would be back in two weeks, so it's kind of a bad time to look for a job. She has not been able to find a job yet but there's still hope.

At my work, the kids in Early Intervention have a three week vacation before summer classes begin. I still have to work though. I have to keep up on home visits and paperwork. Today, Bertha and I got all the storage closets cleened out and organized and moved all the furniture out of the was so the carpets can get cleaned next week. Ya for clean carpet.

As far as I know Josh and Sara haven't heard on any of the houses that they put an offer on. They are looking further out from Rancho and Pamona so they can find something they can afford. They are looking now around Riverside. They still have an appartment ready for them in Rancho in July but they are hoping they can find a house before then. Good luck my cute kids.

Busy, but good times

Boy these days are sure busy it seems. Shelcy has been up to Saratoga Springs for a week and a half, doing her thing. Work is real busy for me even though it seems I take a lot of time off lately. I guess maybe that's why its busy, because I'm always playing catchup. Lots of children need our help. Paperwork, paperwork, paperwork, the work is never over till the paperwork is done. After Rick and I helped Shelcy move up north and took Josh and Sara down south, we took some time out for just us. We took another ride up to Lehi and went to Cabelas and Rick got his birthday present that he wanted, a Fly Fishing Pole and the fixens. Then we got home and went up to Panguitch Lake and through our poles in the lake. He tried his hand at fly fishing, but had no luck, I didn't have any luck either with my pro fishing pole either. But we did have a good dinner consisting of wheat bread, peanut butter, strawberry jelly for me and honey for my honey, barbque chips, drinks and graham crackers, delicious. On Monday night, Josh and Sara came over to wash clothes so we decided to go back out to the lake with them, this time it was to NewCastle lake. Josh was the first one to catch a little beauty, Josh was the second one to catch a little beauty, My beautiful self was the third one to catch a tiny little fella and Josh caught the last one. Poor Rick and Sara.:( We just let ours Freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! But it was fun to reel it in. We took some Kentucky Fried Chicken dinner up with us so it's a good thing we brought food or we would have been hungry:) Rick went fishing tonight with his fly friend, but had no luck again, I wuv you honey:

Kids growing and spreading their wings

So, I take a deep breath and talk with my heavenly father and as I thank him for all my many blessings and my wonderful family. I give thanks for being blessed with wonderful children who are obedient to their teachings and do a good job at following the right path. Also I give thanks to a wonderful husband who has patience and lots of love. He's a hard worker and I am blessed to be married to him.

The time has come for my kids to fly the coupe and try new things. On Friday, May 7th Rick and I packed up Shelcy and with her friend Amber moved them to Saratoga Springs, UT. Amber's family lives there and with more opportunities available, they thought they would give it a try in a bigger area. Friday we dropped the girls things off and visited with Amber's family and then we took Shelcy in to Salt Lake City to spend some time with her. We met up with Rick's sister Brenda and her boyfriend, Jay and his kids and had dinner and visited with them for a couple of hours before we went back to the Hotel to sleep. On Saturday we took Shelcy back to Saratoga Springs and dropped her off. Boy what a feeling:( I have lots of hope and wishes for her. Way to go Shelcy:)

On our way home we took a detour to Richfield to visit my mom for Mother's day. I had some geneology things that she wanted for my kids. We visited for a while then took her to dinner at a Chinese Buffet, mmmmmmmmmmmm.

On Sunday, May 9th, Rick and I took Josh and Sara to Rancho Cucamonga, CA. They showed us their new appartment they will be moving in to unless they get a house real soon. We stayed in Glendora, CA where Rick's cousing Janet and her husband Cary live. They have been so good to our family during this whole process. They have been so gracious to open their house to the kids and us. Ya :) Thank you! We were able to go to their favorite Sushi Resturaunt, Yummy:) We looked at houses all day on Monday and on Tuesday it was Ricks' 44th birthday :) Happy Birthday honey, I love you! We went to breakfast and looked at more houses and then went back to the house and Sara and I sat around the pool and got some sun while the guys watched something guyish on TV. At 5:00 we got ready and went to Sara's new school she will be going to and her and Josh met with the director and her assistant and they welcomed Sara and were excited to have her be coming. They were also excited to meet Josh and so they could have a conection with his Dental school. Way to go you guys! That night Cary made this smoked delicious Tri Tip, Yummy. Janet came home from work just in time and she made a delicious salad and strawberry's and a dip and then topped it off with Strawberry Shortcake. Thanks Janet:) They have an outdoor kitchen that is very comfortable to hang out at, with a fireplace and couches. Wednesday we got up and got ready to leave and we got a phone call from Rick's mom to tell us that Aunt Franny was broke down in Barstow, CA and need help coming home. It worked out so well. We were glad we were there. Fun Times. We made it home that night.
